“You alone are enough. You have nothing to prove to anybody.” ― Maya Angelou
Judith Akoyi holds a bachelor’s degree in anthropology from the University of Nairobi. A single mother of three, Judith courageously quit her job as a customer service rep to become a full-time freelance writer. Though this was one of the scariest decisions of her life, she knows it allows her to choose her working hours and be more present with her kids.
Judith is passionate about self-development and personal growth. She enjoys writing about these topics because many resonate with her directly, and she also gains insights into human behavior and personality.
Like so many others, Judith experiences anxiety and depression at times, especially when life’s demands become overwhelming. Determined to become her best self, Judith is passionate about daily physical, mental, and emotional growth. She is committed to living her best life and has embarked on a journey to understand the human brain and various mental health issues.
When not in her small home office, Judith can be found sweating at the gym. In fact, she describes herself as a “gym rat.” Exercise has been her greatest therapy, helping her cope with her anxiety.
